Overview of the Quarterly Status Report Requirements

Executive Branch Construction Projects

KRS 45.793 requires that the Finance and Administration Cabinet and any institution that manages its own capital construction under KRS Chapter 164A shall provide to the committee at its January, April, July, and October regular meetings a status report of any capital project, excluding items of equipment, not yet completed which received line item authorization by the Kentucky General Assembly or was authorized pursuant to KRS 45.760(14). The Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee shall prescribe data elements to be included in the quarterly status reports.

Executive Branch Information Technology Systems

KRS 45.818 requires that the executive director of the Commonwealth Office of Technology shall provide to the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee at its January, April, July, and October regular meetings a status report on any information technology system not yet completed which received line item authorization by the Kentucky General Assembly or was authorized pursuant to KRS 45.760(14), excluding systems of an institution as defined under KRS 164.001. The committee shall prescribe data elements to be included in the quarterly status reports.

Court Facilities Construction Projects

KRS 26A.168 requires that the Administrative Office of the Courts shall provide to the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee, at the committee's January, April, July, and October regular meetings, a status report of all incomplete court facilities projects. The Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee shall prescribe data elements for the quarterly status reports.
